This project generates closed caption (CC) and video descriptions (VD) for K-12 Spanish language educational programs, produced by the HITN television network, for members of this audience segment who might have visual or auditory disabilities.
In addition, we design strategies to spread information about the existence of these services either through the HITN network, the Closed Caption Latina website, or other educational institutions working with the primary beneficiaries of the project, Hispanics with visual and auditory disabilities.
