In August of 2005, the United States Department of Education issued us (Closed Caption Latina) a grant for a project described as Technology and Media Services for Individuals with Disabilities. Television Access, for the purpose of serving the needs of Hispanic students with auditory and visual disabilities, living in the United States.
The project develops closed caption (CC) and video descriptions produced by the HITN-Inc television network (Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network, Inc), which broadcasts to the Latin community in the United States and Puerto Rico.
This is an invitation to understand the process, here on our website. We want to share with you the many educational, informational and entertaining possibilities that closed captioning and video describing in Spanish language provide.
